2010 has been a busy year so far, with a range of exciting commissions for print and some funky new websites.
As the recession rumbles on, my clients are increasingly using the internet as their main marketing tool and there has been a surprising growth in the use of social networking sites, such as Facebook and Twitter, in business promotion.
In March I ran a digital photography masterclass as part of a residential craft holiday run by Just Scrapbooking.
In addition I have been running some interesting courses through Truro & Penwith College in Web Design, Creative Digital Photography, Photoshop and Digital Imaging.
and we're not even halfway through the year, phew!

A-Pass Motorcycle Training
Jason Laity at A-Pass Motorcycle training needed an eye catching website which was informative and easy to navigate. We used videos from the DVLA to illustrate the components of the new motorcycle tests and included downloadable booklets published by RoSPA on safe motorcycling. The site has a bright, fun design to appeal to a wide audience creating a professional, informative first impression.

Build a Website in a week - as part of Penwith College's summer school I will be running a one week course on building websites using free online software.
Designed for Business - a Level 4 course which is worth 20 Higher Education credits. This course will look at how you develop a visual style for your business.
Scrapbooking Weekend
Do you fancy a relaxing crafty holiday?
Just Scrapbooking are hosting a Scrapbooking Retreat from 7th-10th October at the luxurious Meudon Hotel, nr. Falmouth. Participants will explore ways of using photographs in original layouts through workshops lead by Linda Knight.
I will be there on the Friday delivering a digital photography masterclass, exploring the tropical gardens and private beach. The images you take will be used for your layouts for the rest of the weekend. What a fabulous alternative holiday break!
